  4. Project Begins- Your renovation is underway and demolition begins
  5. Handover- We make sure your wet area renovation is completed to a very high standard

Construction Process

Design

The Ballina Bathroom Co are dedicated to understanding your specific style, budget and planned functionality for your bathroom. A bathroom or en-suite can have many different purposes, whether it be a functional child's bathroom or a luxury adults retreat. Dave offers helpful advice throughout your design and selection process and offers free 3-D designs to assist you in conceptualising your new space.

Demolition & Asbestos Removal

We manage the demolition of bathrooms, and where necessary, we coordinate accredited asbestos removalists to take out and dispose of asbestos. All homes built before 2003 undergo testing; we do this by taking a small wall sheeting sample from your bathroom to the laboratory for testing. ​

Waterproofing

The most critical component of the job. This is completed by Dave the licensed builder. The floors are prepared and levelled if necessary and all wet area renovations are water proofed as per Australia Standard 3740-2010

Plumbing

The Ballina Bathroom Co. work together with fully qualified and licensed plumbers at TJM Plumbing to take care of all your plumbing requirements. TJM Plumbing are experts in the field, reliable,  and know how to get the job done right. Our team are dedicated in providing clients with the latest plumbing products and technology to eliminate problems in the future.

Electrical

Getting the right balance of natural and artificial light in a bathroom is very important to the ambiance and practicality of the room. Partnered together with Charlie and his team at Helps Electrical & Solar, our team is well equipped and experienced to achieve the right lighting design for your space. ​​

Tiling

As the most prominent feature of a finished bathroom, the tiling and tile selections are some of the most important aspects of the bathroom renovation process. With extensive tiling experience, our tiler Ash De Vos, expertly cuts to size and perfectly lays the tiles to match your bathroom aesthetics. Ash prides himself on attention to detail and precision to provide a seamless finish and is experienced in creating shower and bath niches, shower shelves, tile-in drains, tile in windows and much more! Our team are happy to provide advice on tile quality, durability and style, to ensure your selection captures the vision you have for your bathroom
